Top 10 Roman Sites in Bulgaria — WHE Article Discussion (2-3005)

Roman Bulgaria occupied an important position in the heart of the Balkans, between the Black Sea, the Aegean, and Asia Minor. Further south were the cities of Thrace, while older Greek settlements spread along the Black Sea coast. The Roman remains preserved in Bulgaria today are remarkably varied and include theatres, stadiums, baths, fortifications, early Christian churches and some exceptional mosaic floors.
