Ive been having this one argument with my father for years now on whether the principality of Moldavia spoke Moldovan or Romanian. His only argument is that Moldovan is indeed mentioned to exist in the Moldovan Chronicle, but I would love to get a different view/opinion on this from someone else!
Interesting question. I’m not sure whether we have anyone with such specific knowledge on Moldova on the forum yet…
